Liam starts to step forward after cleaving one of the mites in two but he suddenly stops and grabs at his head. He stares at the Mite waving a fetish at him and sways a bit. His eyes suddenly wide with fear he stumbles forward, but his attack fails.
Pixie steps over the cloven bodies of her foes to continue her assault. Momentum, however, continues to allude her alliance. She chops at the one to her right, but her blow is sent awry by dangling roots. Then she slices at the one to her left, which attempts to duck away at the last moment, but even his short stature doesn't save him from the the terrible axe. Pixie cleaves away the top of the Mite's skull and he topples.
Kyria steps forward as the foe before her falls to the axe and slashes at the blue-skinned creature before her with her rapier. She slices into the Mite's side though the blow does not bring him down.
Brandelleon is just about to tap Pixie to give her guidance but she steps away, so he taps Rhote instead.
"The blessing of the land upon you!"
Rhote chuckles and says, "The gods will do it more for you then me, I am sure." He then focuses on his sling work and lets loose another stone guided slightly better by his half-brother's divine magic. His missile flies true and smacks the Mite Kyria just sliced killing him.
The remaining Mite looks ready to flee and starts to turn, but he sees something in the distance that restores his will and he shouts "Feel the wrath of Lord Grabbles!" and manages to slip his dagger between the plates of Liam's armor and prick him in the shin (1 damage).
The biggest and ugliest Mite you've yet seen rides into to room on a stocky tunnel tick the size of a bugbear. You catch glimpses of a few more Mites coming behind, but they are mostly hidden by the Tick and the slope as yet.
