Devastating Cricial is a useful feat. Sadly, the pre-reqs are such that the Cimmerian won't qualify for it until around level 30.

level 21: Dire Charge
level 24: Superior Initiative, Terrifying Rage
level 27: Weapon Focus (pre-req for crit feats)
level 30: Devastating Critical, Overwhelming Critical
level 33+: Epic Strength or Spellcasting Harrier or ?

Nah, they're just not as useful as the first two. A 20+ level fighter ought to be able to do fairly significant damage.

A 20+ level caster ought to also have appreciable Concentration checks but one never knows. Often times they only take enough so they can cast their 9th level spells defensively without rolling (+24 total mod). It's worth the chance to make the caster you just moved up to melee on fub his spell and lose his action for the round. Why? Because next round = full attack! :D

Dire Charge is only useful against opponents who rely on high HP, DR, or fast healing. High AC opponents ignore the third, and often the second, attack in the series. Spellcasting Harrier is very useful against casters, but many casters can avoid melee, through Fly, Greater Invisibility, etc (though those tactics can be countered in turn). They're very nice feats, but not the only good ones. My barbarian/warshaper in The Chaos Principle will have Devastating Critical next level; that'll give him about a 20% chance of forcing a DC 44 Fort save or die in any round he full attacks. That's rather useful, I'd wager.

Hey, there was real combat available. I grappled and pinned a powerful cleric. Its not my fault that all the monsters are afraid to fight our party.
True enough I got to give your props, and an XP bonus, for trying to take out a party members. :)

God I can't believe you all you folks have your feats already picked out... I have not a one. Epic Divine Might looks so freaking awesome but Brystasia will never quality for it. :(

You have until the end of this segment of the action to pick it out, at least; I'll be handing out XP liberally, but only at appropriate intervals. No leveling in the depths of the dungeon.

Terrifying Rage is a nice little feat for dealing with enemies that are subject to fear. If they have less hit dice than you, they flee; if they have more hit dice than you, they take the penalties for being shaken. A good battlefield feat to represent nobody on the opposing side wanting to fight your character. Not so useful against the single Boss enemy.

Superior Initiative is useful for the ever-present question of "Who Goes First" and whether or not you get to charge.

By itself, Dire Charge may not seem that scary. But Dire Charge combined with Shock Trooper (Complete Warrior) can be nice. The Cimmerian has almost zero chance against a Pit Fiend in a 1 on 1 fight, but with Dire Charge, he could get lucky in the first round.

Oh Half-Nymph is an LA 2 so I have a few more levels before I have to choose but I do agree with the policy. :)

I'll be doing heartwarder level 9 because even though I qualify for the Shadowdancer I can think of one in character reason why Brystasia would chose that option. I'm looking for IC suggestions if anyone’s got any. :D

I didn't even find good choices in the Compelete warrior either. (At least not for Brystasia.)

DC 44 is nice. Do you see many opponents that survive a critical hit? I've never played in an "Epic Level Handbook" game before.

DC 44 is indeed nice Brystasia who has ungodly saving throws would have issue making it regularly. It's not a critical damage that is going to kill them it's the feat that will.
