I might be stretching the forum a topic a bit, but I've always gotten great advice here. I'm looking at bidding on a treo 600 pda/phone through ebay. Seller has a good rating, and im using paypal. My question is, the phone is listed as "unlocked". Does this mean I can put my SIMM chip in the phone and use without hassle? Any security/billing issues if I do this? When I was thinking of buying new, the cingular clerk said I could use my existing plan and I could even swap the chip into the store phone to test out. See any problems with bidding for a used phone given the facts above?
