I don't think the free version will. But..Allura said:Will this let me edit the text of a pdf made with something else? And is the result still compatible with Adobe Reader 7? I'm asking because I've had multiple instances where it would be vastly simpler if I could edit text myself during the proofing phase, rather than sending a list of changes for layout to hunt down and find. Adobe standard 7.0 seems a bit expensive for that purpose.
I suspect I've asked this before, but I can't find the thread, and this one's more recent anyway.![]()
The full version PagePlus 11 (which I'll be upgrading to shortly, I have 9 currently) will open, edit, and output PDFs (with all those important settings for fine tuning your PDF), and also does forms, book marks, photomanipulation, & the list goes on. So it will do most of what Acrobat and InDesign do, and even a few things Photoshop will do (and I'm convinced anything you need a layout program to do for PDF publishing), all in one package, for a whopping $130 price tag. The only big downside is the lack of file compatibility with InDesign or Quark, if you expect to be working with other people who need those formats from you.
Check it out. It's worth a look:
