Pharael, Bringer of Just Wrath
Pharael is a passionate celestial lord that charges himself and his followers to seek out evil beings and serve them with retribution.
Pharael appears as a large, broad, muscular humanoid, with red skin that glows red and black, burning and crackling like magma. He has large, angelic wings made of pure celestial fire. Bolts of electricity and spouts of flame erupt from his body. A friendly smile is usually on his lips, but when he is angered his heat emanates from his body so that his presence is nearly unbearable. Those that know of him also call him Vengeance Incarnate, the Fiery Storm, and the Ardent Judge.
Pharael concerns himself greatly with the mortal races, but he has a particular affection for humans as they are as varied as the fire itself that he is made of. Besides the eladrin, good dragons, azer, good elementals and djinni that serve him, pharael is also venerated by good humanoids, genasi, and fey. Pharael’s most common enemies are the various evil elemental beings, particularly efreeti.
Pharael lives between the nether regions of the elemental planes of Fire and Air. The surrounding climate of his home is not particularly hospitable at all. The constant lightning storms and seas of lava keep most unwanted guests away, though the pure in heart find these things only pleasingly warm. In the middle of his realm is a large tower of metal, where he stays. His tower, impervious to the elements, is a haven for heroes who find only danger in the elemental planes. A whole fortress-town metropolis of good and neutral creatures surrounds this keep.
Pharael’s symbol is a bolt of lightning tipped with a flicker of fire.
