PHB 3 Feat List

Oddly I consider hide armor expertise badly broken (con barbs have plenty of other ways to stay on their feat and their AC was never bad), the avenger with this new feat is just a tiny bit too high (one point, IMHO).

Well, HAE is not limited to barbarians either. It's only OP in conjunction with Barbarian Agility ( so I'd say that it's more the latter that's OP ) whereas a shaman with HAE is perfectly fine.
In addition, since we're discussing a game where we have an expected range of AC/level, it doesn't really matter how many feats it takes to reach the expected AC: as long as the result is within a certain range, it doesn't break the game ( overpowered at most, but not really broken ).
PS: for any class that isn't an avenger or a monk, UA is strictly worse than Leather Armor Proficiency. Either you think that LAP is OP as well, or Unarmored Agility should be fine ;)
It seems to me that rather than having a problem with Unarmored Agility and Hide Armor Expertise, you have a problem with Improved Armor of Faith and Barbarian Agility :)

Its a good point. Why should a striker similarly equiped to a defender (i.e. two handed weapon) have a significantly higher ac? Ac is meant to be part of the defenders bread and butter, where strikers sacrifice defence for attack and mobility. But here we have a situation where a Striker boasts one of the highest ac achieveable in the game.
And why should a defender (a fighter) have damage and mobility comparable to strikers? I don't agree with it, but it's heavily built into the system as is.

Barbarians can pick up Hide Armor Expertise and Second Skin for a total of +10 AC by L30 with 18 starting constitution. They also have defender level HP and surges, with constitution as a primary stat, and of course deal striker-level damage.

Not quite.

+2 for Second Skin and +8 for Con. However, it's likely he'll have at least a 14 in either Dex or Int, so that means the +8 for Con replaces +2 for Int or Dex, making the actual total increase for the two feats be +8. Still, very impressive.

As for the new +2 AC (Feat Bonus), I see this as perhaps targeted at the monk, and it s a welcome addition for them.
