Pimp my rid/// um familiar

OK, assuming feats are no object (yea right), what would be a good familar for a CG Warlock (obviously already taking Obtain Familiar)? What would be good boosting feats? And what spells/enchantments/whatever will boost the little fella up?

As a side question, is there a feat that allows a faerie familiar (like the BoED one that gives a eladrin familiar)?

Well, the Fortify Familiar and Enhance Familiar spells from Complete Arcane are good, and they can be made permanent. Taking Improved Familiar will let you get a more durable familiar up-front. Your familiar can wear some magic items as well.

Personally, I'm a fan of taking Improved Familiar, getting a Pseudodragon familiar, and using Polymorph Any Object on him to make him into my favorite flavor of 15HD dragon. Granted, he'll have half of my Wizard's hitpoints, so he won't be a great fighter.

But you Pao-fu is not l33t, grasshopper: the correct one to take is Imp, going into Erinyes. Far better stats and the ability to wear anything PCs can wear.
