It's actually worth clicking on "not interested" for that stuff on Youtube. It helps to clean things up.lol I found myself recently being like "oh whats this?....waaaaiiiit a min better not!"

I found it easier to just not get clickbaited int he first place. My new years resolution two years ago was to stop doing it. So, anytime somebody is like "here's my thoughts" and posts a video I just skip right over that nonsense. It's actually worth clicking on "not interested" for that stuff on Youtube. You don't actually have to click on the video, just the three vertical dots next to it.I found it easier to just not get clickbaited int he first place. They keep needing to make it more intrusive and annoying, in order to get the same level of interaction.Clickbait is starting to become white noise. I feel like I have acclimated to a lot of the ways social and online media tries to get you to react
Yep! If you're pretty consistent with using either "not interested" or "don't recommend channel", YouTube can actually be a good experience. Looking right now, the first 10 videos it is suggesting for me are all things I am interested in and will try to get around to watching. It's taken a lot of mindful use of it to get there, but it's possible! You don't actually have to click on the video, just the three vertical dots next to it.
Also going back and cleaning up your watch history does a lot to clean up the algorithm. It's actually worth clicking on "not interested" for that stuff on Youtube. It helps to clean things up.
Yup.
Here’s a border collie so tired, she didn’t move when she knocked over her Christmas present and it fell on her.

Dammit I hate when I fail my Wis save. Sigh.
I do the same thing. To date I only have one person on ignore, and that happened just last year. I made it that long without using that feature.I disagree with a lot of folks on a lot of things, and I'm sure many would say the same of me, and thats just the people who HAVENT yet put me on Ignore.
That said, I'll keep a person off ignore, even if we have little to nothing in common, agree on little to nothing, if said person at least has something interesting to say, and is not overwhelmingly obnoxious with every post.
