I'd hire a champion.If Duel's were legal again...
I’d buy a gun. Wait…I'd hire a champion.
LOL. I think it’s just that after being a year-and-a-half late I finally get shipping notifications only for it to just hang. Not the end of the world. Just frustrating. If that sets you off then I don't suggest you sign up for email notifications.
Oh damn. That sucks. I know the feeling.A couple of years ago I bought a Smallsword for a friend in Whiting, IN from a shop in Elgin, IL. I was hoping that she would do a CosPlay of "La Maupin." Elgin is just west of Chicago, close enough to be a suburb. Whiting is just across the border border between Indiana and Illinois, and is also a suburb of Chicago despite the border.
It took a couple of days for the sword to go from Elgin to the postal clearing area at O'Hare. Then 3 days to go across O'Hare to the transshipment facility. After a few days there it was sent out to... Indianapolis. It then took a week to make it back to Whiting. Experience tells me that it would have made it to Toronto faster. I felt like driving down there, picking it up at the shop, then driving it to her house would have been easier on my blood pressure.
A year and a half? That sucks. Most are a little late, because excrement occurs. If it's any consolation to you there are still people who haven't received their perks from the "Space Janitors" season 3 Kickstarter. That was due in 2014. I think the only reason that I got mine, about 2.5 years late, was because I offered to drive the 20 minutes to producer's house and pick them up personally. I have no idea how they got later projects funded, but they did.LOL. I think it’s just that after being a year-and-a-half late I finally get shipping notifications only for it to just hang. Pretty damn funny that its the same as it ever was.
We are no better in 2025, than we were in 1200. Humanity never changes.
Where is my Copper Salesman...
I know you're just blowing off steam, but... No.
Antibiotics. Indoor/outdoor plumbing. Mass literacy. Readily available nutrition. Space travel.
