I shan't be doing that. I debated with myself a lot before posting it (... in the wrong place...) and it's not going to change anyone's mind there. I'll just be another voice airing my opinions. It's the Internet. Truth is... the game was rigged from the start.

I feel like Toronto has been telling me I need to get the hell out. Not so long ago I was walking around in a t-shirt, but we got snow this morning.

Then again a friend told me, today, that they were expecting a huge storm and I saw "storm rotation", or something like that, on The Weather Channel. Hopefully that calms down before I fly in, tomorrow night.

Our weather is like "After the golf ball sized hail, it'll be a wintry mix, changing to grauple, a 50 degree drop, before freezing rain, 30 degree rise, tornados, floods, and then snow. All in the next 72 hours!" Makes one look outside at the sky and say fu.

I’m starting to think reliance on “AI” to learn, teach, and make things is one of the filters for the Drake equation, aka it’s a species-wide Darwin award. Individually, if you’re so dumb you take mushroom foraging advice from a chatbot, maybe the rest of us are better off without you. As a species, if we’re so dumb we leave critical decisions to chatbots, maybe the rest of the universe is better off without us.

One thing I will say, is Google seems to do this better, by giving the link to its sources so we can at least try and verify.
