I used to write thousand word essays the night before they were due. So far no one has annoyed me enough that I've needed to dust off that particular skill, but it's not out of the realm of possibility

When I'm writing something long-form, my daily hard minimum is a thousand words. I wrote the player-facing setting information for the last D&D 5e campaign I started in a day, and that was a 5400+ word thing (to be fair, mostly an expansion of a much sketchier document for newcomers to the city).
