Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

We'll take Oregon and Washington, west of The Rockies. You can keep the rest.
You can make room for Michigan too right? I mean we're practically there already. We got the bridge on our license plates and everything.
Nothing says coming home like a game day with old friends.
It was really a blast. It was like slipping back in time. We were joking and chatting just like normal. You'd think I'd had only been away a month.. and not 14.

"I don't have to have an opinion on everything," however, is one of the wisest opinions to have.
My mother-in-law was shocked, shocked, when I told her I had never wondered what her opinion about a specific thing was. She asked why. I told her, it was none of my business. Her opinions and thoughts are her business, and shouldn't be any business of mine. My wife had to explain that I wasn't pulling her leg, that I don't normally wonder what other people are thinking. (Obviously, when my coworker reveals he doesn't know how to put a management IP on a device, or how TCP/IP even works, despite being an IT tech for ten years and i end up having to fix the thing, I wonder that a lot; but in general...)

In hindsight, she has done evangelism and outreach for her church group, so I guess that comes with the territory.

I love how people love to take a crap on Battletech as "originally a board game" which was a thousand years ago. Nobody denigrates D&D because it was a wargame called chainmail decades ago. Its an interesting point from a historical perspective, but not a wholesale write off. I just dont get it.

"I don't have to have an opinion on your opinion," is also a good one, yes.

True story.

I was at a party once, and there were a lot of heated arguments about various things. Anyway, whenever I was asked about any of the heated discussions, I would give a rational, "Well, it's complicated, and there are issues on both sides, and ...." analysis.

Later that night, one of the people went up to me and said, "Are you passionate about ANYTHING?"

Which has become a go-to joke with my friends.

I guess I was just lucky that no one brought up Bards!
