Your first 1812 Overture?

Not the right tonality at all, but at least it looks like a prop/musket where you could adjust the volume.

I did props for a play in college where there's a scene with a man sitting on a couch with his family gathered around listening to him talking. At the end of his monologue, he announces he's going to kill himself then takes a fake prop gun out of his briefcase and shoots himself in the head.
As the props guy and "armorer" for the show, I was hidden backstage watching for the cue to fire a real gun loaded with blanks. The gun on the stage was supposed to be a .45, but the gun I was firing was a .22 because people who aren't familiar with guns rarely ever realize how loud a gunshot is, especially in a freaking theatre.
I was backstage, in a corner, backed on two sides by cinderblock walls. I fired that .22, and in that enclosed space it sounded like I'd just popped off with a .50 cal buffalo rifle, lol. Fortunately, I'd had an opportunity before the show to practice fire the weapon, so I was prepared for it, but ...dayum did that ever rattle my fillings... lol.

Yeah, one can make a good burger at home, it is something like catfish, terrible to make at home, that are good to eat at a restaurant.
Oh man, this is the exact opposite of my experience with catfish. I'm always measuring the catfish from restaurants against the ones my memaw used to make and they've yet to ever rise beyond "that was fine."

The problem with Tex-Mex from actual Texas is that it isn't even the best "Tex-Mex" because New Mexico has way better food and also the weather is nicer and the views are actually quite beautiful and as an added bonus, I can take a leak without breaking the law.

I live like 5 minutes from an In-n-Out and I went there for the first time in a while and there was no line at all, it was like seeing a unicorn.

I know the feeling. I haven't had what I would call good lobster since I was a kid visiting family, on Cape Breton Island. One of my uncles owned a lobster wharf and the boilers were just down the hill from their house. When my parents most of my father's side of the family wrote us off, so that was that.

Not going to argue with anything else, but I will say there are some beautiful places in Texas. You just have to drive through some real ugly to get to them. Especially if you're coming from the East ...

My wife is a pretty good Mexican cook, I have also had good Mexican food outside of home, it's not "made with love" though, a special ingredient. In general I prefer eating at home vs going out.

Growing up I only ever had Americanized Mexican food or TexMex. When I finally had authentic Mexican food it was like a literal divine revelation. Luckily I took the time to learn how to cook and have absolutely hoarded every Mexican recipe and cookbook I could find. I make a few dishes fairly well, but even the low-end taco trucks absolutely blow my cooking away.
