The trick is that you can now turn off most of the channels and save most of the cost. If you're subscribing to all of the services at the same time, you're almost certainly paying for services you're not really watching.

Two for one.
1. Its a real shame, that despite your obvious (and I mean this) intelligence, and likely ability to apply said intelligence, you choose to demonstrate repeatedly, across multiple threads, that you are suffering the effects of some kind of trauma. I'm not downplaying it, you legit need help to move on, you'll be happier.
2. There are 4 chimps in a room, with a ladder, and some fruit hanging above it. The chimps try to climb the ladder, but if any of them touch it, they are sprayed down with a hose of cold water. Eventually, they stop trying to climb the ladder.
One chimp is rotated out, with a newcomer. That newcomer tries to climb the ladder, and instead of being sprayed, he is pulled back by the other chimps, scared of being sprayed.
Another chimp is rotated out, with a newcomer. That newcomer tries to climb the ladder, but the other chimps all pull him back.
This continues until all the original chimps are gone. None of the newcomers have been sprayed, yet they all know, you may not touch the ladder.

BBC streaming in US, Canada, and a few other places. From selected David Attenborough nature shows to Doctor Who to Sherlock and Luther. Lots and lots of crime/mystery shows.
That was my plan when I got on there to watch the end of some detective show that had the earlier season's elsewhere too. And then I started watching some others. I probably should have seen how many seasons Inspector Morse/Endeavor/Louis, Taggart, Midsomer Murders, and the like had before I tried them, because now it is hopeless and I think I am in for the long haul.

Me: I jump onto the hose.
GM: ... What?
Me: I'm a chimp. I can leap from tree branch to tree branch in the jungle canopy. I leap onto the hose and grab it.
GM: ... Uh, the hose, uh, retracts faster than you can react.
Me: Okay, I land. Then I turn to the other chimps. 'If both of us climb, and one grabs the fruit while the other jumps for the hose, we can do this.'
GM: ... I need a Quantum Ogre...
