What are you talking about? No one makes cheese like the Americans, just ask this guy:

And no one EATS cheese like MURIKA!

Yeah! OOOOOOOSA! Straight into the pie hole, baby! Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Cheezy Goodness!

That said, if you're at a high-end steakhouse, you should know this- the person ordering filet mignon is making the wrong choice.

I have a slightly different POV on this. Ordering filet mignon at a high-end steakhouse is like ordering a frappucino at an artisanal coffee shop. Sure, it's overly basic, it's not going to let the true skill of the place show, and it's going to be overpriced. But it's also accessible, enjoyable, and you know they're going to do a good job with it. I would say it's not an optimal choice, but I also wouldn't call it wrong.

Also, that's the second time today I've defaulted to a frappucino analogy. Which is like going to Starbucks twice in one day: I don't take pride in it, but it gets the job done.

You wouldn't call it wrong?

One of the true joys of life is judging others.

It always works out!

I take the opinion that people should order food they like to eat at steakhouses. If that is fillet mignon, steak house seems like the right location for that option. I would say food should be about enjoyment not about how sophisticated or cultured it makes you look.
