i'm half tempted to make a thread asking "how pessimistic are you?" but I feel like answers would be "I look both ways on a one way street" level

As a driver, I’ve encountered at least 3 wrong-way drivers on the streets (not counting parking lots), as well as a few as a pedestrian.

Cars, motorcycles, ebikes, bicycles.... All at one time or another.

I really hate it when the maker of a great tool skimps on the storage pouch. Checking online I found that a replacement would be dirt cheap, but shipping would be three times the cost of the replacement. So, I made this in a couple of hours, instead.

Oh yeah some of the storage devices are absolute junk. I’d prefer no device or even nylon if you want to skimp on the product there!

Yeah, I always look both ways on one-way streets, I imagine that if I'm ever at risk of getting run over it will be by someone not fully compliant with the highway code

I was in a car that was in the next lane over when a wrongway driver was going down the fast lane on the freeway the wrong way once.

There's an experience you will never forget.

A cyclists going the wrong way, on a one-way street bicycle path, almost killed my pooch and injure me a few weeks ago.

The storage pouch was nylon, using Velcro to close the flap. The Velcro pretty much gave up the ghost at 3 months. I restitched the nylon pouch at 6 months, then again 3 months later. I expect this leather one I made will last the life of the tool (Roxon KS2E).

I have 2 other videos of people driving the wrong way, in heavy traffic, but this is the incident that I remember the most. Cop. No lights, no siren. Note the signage.
