I'd argue an important portion of the players -not even counting 'tourists'- don't even know about the reserved list, let alone have any strong feelings on either direction.

That applies to so many post on here about how bad wotc actions are regarding D&D.

Sometimes I think I miss snow, but then people who have to deal with it post pictures and I change my mind.

Sometimes I think I miss snow, but then people who have to deal with it post pictures and I change my mind.

When we’ve lived in places that deal with real snowfalls regularly, dealing with snow personally was no big deal.

But living in places where serious winter precipitation is a rarity, it becomes much more difficult to handle at the household level.

And the same goes for dealing with hot weather.

(Having nearly been killed by both extremes, I’ll take the cold over the heat every dang time.)

I'm really happy that Polygon is doing more RPG coverage, following the death of other sites, but their main D&D writer desperately needs to play more games. Calling 5E a "rules lite game" is basically a declaration that he's played 5E and maybe Hero. and that's it.
