I saw it over a decade ago, and didn't appreciate it. Saw it again last weekend, and realised how awesome it is.

It's OK, but it's no "Josie and the Pussycats."

Yeah, looks like someone on my Ignore list is still earning their place there.

In my defense, so was I.

Allow me to add the criminally underrated Speed Racer movie.

I could not get past the motion sickness inducing opening. It was actually my "realisation I've fallen into the generation gap moment."

I wanted to see it because I was psyched to see Racer X doing bad ass Racer X stuff. But I had to walk away.

I suppose I could try again, fast forward the first few minutes.

Personally, I think that if you survived the edition wars, it's probably best to not show your scars in every thread you join.

But then again, that's another way of saying I wasn't around for it.
