I've had a similar experience. Last year when I was at the dental hygienist, she remarked that she thought my mouth was dry, and I should get checked for diabetes. So I did, and they found that I had a (relatively speaking) mild type 2 diabetes and ran some other tests and then went "Holy hell your blood pressure is high" and put me on various meds to deal with that more than the diabetes. Of course, some of the remedies will help with both, such as losing weight.Glad your okay. Not long ago I went in to the ER for soemthing unrelated and ended up being monitored for "how have you not had a stroke?" blood pressure levels.
