Where do you typically go?

We usually do pizza at home, but if we go out for pizza it’s either Punch or Black Sheep.

My favorite joint is a place called Frank and Andrea's something something based in dinkytown near U of M. They do real NY style pizza not just a large thin crust pretending to be NY style. I highly recommend the little Mario. Also, over in St Paul, I like Casetta's.

For chains, Davannis and Carbones are good. Especially, the Carbones in Mendota Bluffs by Metro State college. I do like Red's Savoy even though the original is gone. We had one here in NE, but it was the only franchise to close down. The owner of the building was giving zero leeway during pandemic and everything in the building closed up except the Jimmy Johns.

I'm not keen on ketchup on hotdogs, but I'm also not going to judge someone for it. Spicy brown mustard and diced onion are hard to beat..

I do also like some straight up garbage dogs too though. Relish, peppers, tomato..

Something that surprised me when moving to Metro Detroit however, was the popularity of Coney Dogs. This place is just lousy with "Coney Island" restaurants. They're all little diner type joints that sell Coney Dogs, and awful gyros, and other diner type food..
