One of the worst people in the RPG space has a successful project right now. I hope he thinks about the fact, every once in a while, that if he wasn't a straight-up terrible person, he'd likely be one of the biggest stars in the RPG scene and dramatically more successful. When even the "I don't pay attention to who the creator is" folks back away from you, you've got a real problem.

Ah, I dont know that that's what I had stumbled on, but there's some pretty diverse stuff right now, 5e has entered the 'weird' phase to me lol.

Oh, in the 5E space, it's definitely experimental out there right now. I think the more traditional folks are waiting for all the 2024-25 core books to be out. Companies went under during the 3.5 transition and I think most people who want to pitch a traditional fantasy 5E book are sitting on their hands for a bit, leaving the field to "what if D&D, but no violence" and similar out of the box takes.
