We wound up canceling last night. The DM was ok but one of the players was just too distraught. Yesterday morning I had debated bowing out but had finally decided I could use the company.

Wound up going to the gym, making a good dinner, and going for an hour+ walk with my brother in the unseasonable warm weather (high of 80 in my town yesterday here in NH) to work out some of the anger and anxiety.

I ran my Traveller Hero game on Tuesday night with no real issues, because we were able to ride it out on a cloud of ignorance. If I was still running Wednesdays, well, I might have needed a bye-week...

Well, we're about to get confirmation the atmosphere is passed the 1.5C benchmark for continued life on Earth. So at least people won't be wrong on the internet much longer.

What do you do when you win an appeal, and the lower court is just like, "Naw. Ima do what I want."

Obviously, this issue is covered, but I had never seen it actually happen. Feels like I should write a letter about it!

I was just a freshman at a small midwestern college, and I never thought something like this could happen to me! But one week, I was late getting to class, and I had to sit in the back next to the gorgeous graduate teaching assistant. Little did I know when the TA asked if I was turned on by appellate mandates what would happen next ...
