In general on social media and elsewhere...

I sometimes wonder how many reactions to things are caused by the listener being reminded that they strangled the little voice of their conscience about the issue until it shut up - but hearing about it again is giving the little voice a momentary burst of strength to make a quiet peep about it in the background. And if they just argue or rage enough the little voice will go away again and they won't have to feel bad.
 

I've been pondering obliviousness vs. obfuscation. It's is kind of annoying since I apparently have patience for the former but not the later. In any case, I apparently also don't have patience for pondering it about someone too many times (at least in the short term).
