I passed my Wisdom save Save vs. Spells, and didn't resurrect that failed IndieGogo thread. But I was sorely tempted. Dozens of dollars and 3-1/2 years later, and that Legacy Content Disclaimer hasn't budged an inch. I'm beginning to think they may never stop Wizards of the Coast!

(I will never stop mocking that crowdfunder.)

Real talk: it's not hard to profit off of manufactured outrage on the Internet... but it's not exactly easy either. YouTube influencers make it look easy but behind the scenes, there's a lot more going on than "make enough people mad." And you have to pick your topic carefully, or else you're going to end up looking like a bully or a clown.

I hear lots of talk about separating the wheat from the chaff on influencers but they all end up bully clowns to me. YMMV

one can separate wheat from the chaff but sadly the harvested crop seems to be human toxic waste rather than anything I can use for bread.

As someone who was only sporadic at best in the "Didn't Comment" thread, real talk: does the "Pineapple-On-Pizza" metaphor have a specific correspondence in the current rules or does it just refer to the tendency to evangelize about one's tastes?

Pineapple on pizza, ketchup on hotdogs, and anything about being bards were stand ins for the less popular side in whatever thing you were really talking about. What that was changed depending on what was aggravating the poster. (And then it would be interrupted by actual discussions of pizza and hot dog toppings and bards).

IMHO, one big advantage of being vague in threads like this is that we can all "sit" in circle, nod at each other and smile knowingly, while each of us is putting whatever precise meaning we prefer...

The pinnacle on pizza appears to have taken on additional meaning for a lot of posters. But when I have posted about it, I have literally just been posting my actual opinions on pinnapple pizza. Personally I think the Didn't Comment thread has been very unhealthy for the forum
