Why are they baking that hedgehog?!

They’re not! That oven is room temperature. The hedgehog is just hanging out. It turns out that a lot of young hedgehogs like such pans, seriously, as being just right for them, like cats and boxes. All is well.

It always amazes me how people are suddenly willing to eat giant bugs just because they came out of the ocean.

George Alec Effinger used to say that nature made such things look gross, put them in armor, and sank them to the bottom of the sea, and we could get the clue, already. Works for me.

Yeah. I recall one Krispy Kreme place in Medford, a few years back. I think it closed when the novelty wore off, because we have tons of Dunkins with similar quality, and a lot of indie places that are tons better.

I can't remember if it was in Medford but I recall one coming here some time ago and taking my wife. What you say matches my memory, it was popular initially but the novelty eventually gave way. For some reason, Dunkin' Donuts cannot be dethroned here (which is odd because it used to have good donuts, but it kind of went down hill after they switched to a central kitchen). I always liked their coffee though. I still remember when they served it in those opaque white glass mugs.
