Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

When I was in school to be a paralegal, my professor told the class to go over a specific case and condense it down to the important facts for the attorney. She said to be concise. As most of you know from my posts, concise is my middle name. I rarely write posts that are even this long. Anyway, I brought the paper up to her and she looked at it and this was the back and forth.

Her: "You need to write more."
Me: "You said to be concise."
Her: "Yes I did, but trust me, there needs to be more here."
Me: "Everything the attorney will want to know is there and understandable."
Her: "Yes it is, but attorneys like words. I can't believe this. In 25 years you are the first student I've had to tell to be less concise."

Then since I abhor wasted space, I struggled for like a half hour to stick in filler words that didn't alter any of what I had said and doubled the number of words used. That apparently was good enough.
What, you didn't just add more citations, in-line instead of footnotes, preferably citing to both traditional and online sources? Oh, and multi-line headings with the text below basically repeating the heading with a few more words--and citations. Amateur. ;-)

Anyone who studied under my profs at UT Law would probably have appreciated your linguistic economy. 🥂

Hilarious...complaining about whataboutism and arguing in bad faith.
Unbelievable when you have a long established history of that very tactic.
Some would say that you are notorious for this
Seriously, it's laughable
Always complaining about something you always do.
Really, I'm genuinely shocked how people don't see you for what you are.

Ahem!

I really want a book in 2027 (or so) that follows up the recent OD&D history book and includes full reprints of Holmes and Moldvay Basics, Cook Expert, and maybe B1, B2, and X1.

I would settle for a hardcover book that was just a reprint of Moldvay Basic and Cook Expert.
Given that it is my personal introductory edition(like so many others) I would really enjoy a thorough history of BECMI, from how it got made to how it finally died (and was reborn briefly in the RC).
