I really want a book in 2027 (or so) that follows up the recent OD&D history book and includes full reprints of Holmes and Moldvay Basics, Cook Expert, and maybe B1, B2, and X1.

I would settle for a hardcover book that was just a reprint of Moldvay Basic and Cook Expert.

I'd settle for them releasing Holmes in PDF, it's one of the few incarnations of D&D not on the DM Guild. (The other being 3.0.)
