Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

The forum did one of those 'behavior changes' it seems the last few days. I'm still blocked, but seeing the threads he's started when a few days ago I couldnt. 🤷‍♂️

So, if I take a glance, I can probably tell what you are talking about.
That's a problem.
Please go re-read the very first post in this thread. Because what you are doing now leads to this thread's closure. But there won't be a third.

It is a really simple rule. Please prove you can hold to it.

I have soooo many soundtracks & scores, and TD (and the individuals) are behind many of them.

Some soundtracks aren’t just good, IMHO, they’re cultural/musical touchstones in and of themselves.

Some of my faves:

Legend
Miami Vice 1
Heavy Metal 1
Judgement Night
Strange Days
The Crow
1984
Godzilla
Koyaanisqatsi
Risky Business
Less Than Zero
The Song Remains the Same
Blade Runner
Antarctica
Chariots of Fire
You forgot Singles again. 😎

If you had told me in 1988 that I would be considering publishing a module at age 55, it would not have surprised me.

If you told me it would be primarily for a flavor of D&D, it would have been slightly surprising to me (I started with D&D, but immediately transitioned to RuneQuest and Champions and Traveler).

If you had told me it would be about Jack the Ripper, a subject which has never held even the slightest iota of my interest, I would have called you a liar.

But here I am.

Oh exactly. The best part is, my Dad was my HS Football coach. In our league championship I lost vision out of one eye after a hit. "OK, just give it a few play's, it will come back."

And he sent me back out.
That reminds me of when I was a kid.

When I was 6 one of my dad's friends took me rollers skating. I was agile enough to stay on my feet, but I was walking slowly on the skates, not rolling. Anyway, being 6 I really wasn't looking where I was going and I wandered in front of a woman who was skating extremely fast. I just remember seeing her a few feet from me with a look of horror on her face.

I woke up in the manager's office on his couch with 4-5 men all standing over me looking down with really worried expressions on their faces. When I opened my eyes one of them asked me if I was okay. I said yes and they all looked relieved. Apparently the word of a 6 year old was good enough. My dad's friend took me home and that was that. This was in the 70's where if you didn't die, you were good to go!

So, you just reminded me of when I tried to show my Dad, at 4, how I knew how to ride my bike!

Note: I dont really have memory of this, but the story has been told and I've seen the pictures of the aftermath.

I was 4, and the townhouses we lived in had those big concrete steps up from the sidewalk, with little cobbles between each house. My Dad gets home from work or school, and in my excitement I tell him I've learned to ride a bike. He say's oh thats great!

He then proceeds to accelerate me well beyond what my little legs could do myself, and I go face first, and remember kids we didnt have helmets in the old days, right into the concrete steps. I've never seen a better set of black eyes. :ROFLMAO:

Man! That reminds me of when I first learned to ride a bike. Also when I was 6. The bike my dad bought me didn't have nuts on the front wheel, so if I wasn't moving it would pop out and I would fall over. I learned really quickly how to keep that sucker in motion in order to keep that front wheel on. LOL

When I was 4 years old I fell down a flight of stairs, at a relative's house, and whacked my head on an old radiator. You know, the old, big, cast iron ones that you see in older houses. Split my head open and was bleeding everywhere. Everyone came running and, as in your case, asked me if I was all right. "I'm all right mommy" I said, then proceeded to fall down the next flight of stairs.

But Rob was, in fact, not all right.

Still have a divot in my skull and a bit of a scar. Some say this incident explains much.

There are currently several bands I can think of doing what would otherwise be considered “classic rock”- Rival Sons and Dirty Honey spring to mind. Greta Van Fleet is arguably in that category as well.
I really wanted to like Greta but they didn't quite work for me. Somewhat similar vibe, I like a good amount of Crown Lands' stuff.
