There’s like 2-3 GVF songs I genuinely like. The rest leave me “Meh.”I really wanted to like Greta but they didn't quite work for me. Somewhat similar vibe, I like a good amount of Crown Lands' stuff.
I like a good Zep knockoff, but GVF kept denying that Zeppelin had anything to do with the foundations of their audio and visual aesthetics. And that didn’t really pass the sniff test.I had trouble getting into them as well. I like Led Zeppelin and miss that classic big sound, but there was something a little uncanny about the band (I don't know if there is a term for this but I have encountered the same thing in metal, I call them aesthetic bands, in that they capture a particular musical aesthetic, like an earlier bands sound)
