All opinions have a mass of 100mg. Universal constant.

So much for one person's opinion having more weight than another.

If this is so, there's a consequence of that - the human brain has a mass of about 1300 grams. The more of it you take up with opinions, the less of it you have to think with. Also, that same organ keeps your heart going, controls breathing, and so on. It should therefor be possible to kill someone by getting them to form too many opinions, until their autonomic functions cease.

I refer you to my pitch for "LongCon", "the convention about successfully running Kickstarters" which would be funded by its own Kickstarter, from a previous thread. My pitch would have involved panels with successful KS creators, events for making KS videos and pricing structures, etc. Sadly, there already is a LongCon, so I'll have to come up with another name.
Not con related, nor Con related, but the former president of Zombie Orpheus Entertainment made a pretty good sideline out of coaching people on running successful Kickstarters.

OK, maybe Con related, a bit, as I discussed it with them during ZOECon.

If only...

So basically, all the people online who have 10,000 extremely vocal opinions on Star Wars are actually zombies.

True story: I once (and only once) had someone PM me a threat of physical violence on ENworld. I was caught very off guard and confused about what I had done to set them off. After researching things, I eventually learned (with 98% certainty) that their beef originated in a Star Wars debate. I'll also add that the mods handled the situation perfectly, with great care, speed, and professionalism.

My other ENWorld Star Wars story would be that my opinions on Star Wars were so unpopular they got an "Unpopular Opinions" thread shut down. But that seems rather tame by comparison.

Somewhat related...

Shortly after I joined, I was blocked by someone for making a joke about Star Wars. Specifically, about ewoks.

Seriously, Star Wars conversations make discussions about 4e or the business practices of WoTC look like a feel-good love-in.
