Ideally, the librarians are not doing the UX work. Ideally.

Yes, but there's a bit of a gap between, "The people who know the use case and accept the solution are not great at UX" and "Got taken to the cleaners".

And that's not even counting the possibility that they didn't get taken to the cleaners, but that there's a compromise going on that we aren't aware of.

LIke, again, for libraries, there was an app many used for distributing electronic media - epubs and audiobooks, mostly, called "OverDrive". And it was pretty good. Not that long ago, Overdrive was replaced by "Libby" from the same providers. Libby, when it shipped, was really not as good as OverDrive.

But, if you looked at some of the missing features, it seemed like they may have needed to make some changes due to rising use - that OverDrive was good, but didn't scale very well.

Frustrating times call for more gaming…it makes everything better.

Wish people did more cooperative playing and less other stuff.

Just scored 4 new Minotaur minis…thinking about a dungeon with four cages…Minotaurs held by hobgoblins for gladiatorial combat.

If players start throwing levers, they open cages. Maybe all of them. Once loose the Minotaurs want to kill their captors and don’t distinguish players from npcs/monsters!

Would love to see if the pcs can work with the hobgoblins for mutual benefit or if it’s a free for all!

I have a foam 3D dungeon in a big table. Could be epic or could be tpk!!!

Focusing on this though is more fun than hand wringing worrying arguing, etc.

If you're headed to the supermarket for Thanksgiving supplies, don't forget the essentials -- like popcorn, pretzels, jelly beans, and enough bread for 200 slices of toast.
