We're all fans of tabletop RPGs here, across all kinds of genres and from all sorts of publishers.

Not really, no. Some of us are fans of all kinds of games, genres, and publishers. The vast majority are fans only of D&D, fans only of WotC, and specifically and solely fans of 5E.

“At Wurst”: the exciting tabletop game of navigating your drunken character through the Oktoberfest crowd to find a good snack, like a pretzel or wurst (brat, rot, blut or bier), while sabotaging the other players’ attempts to do likewise.

Fun for at least the person who wins.

(I’m thinking RoboRally type gameplay.)

You forgot the (not quite inevitable) virtual beat downs of the poor schmoes who actually suggest other systems.

Or the disgruntled reaction if you point out the question was asked in the general TTRPG forum instead of one of the D&D associated one, because someone noticed D&D in the title but didn't notice that and is all soggy about it...

Some of the responses you see sometimes seems to call that into question.

Which is okay. If people are D&D ride-or-dies that's their right, but being weird about suggesting it might be worth foraying out into the wider world, especially when people are having problems with things that are kind of core D&D-sphere is kind of a bad look.
