I see we’ve entered the “I win when I get the last word” phased of discussion.

“Good day to you, Sir!”

“NO! Good day to YOU, sir!”

“You cannot say Good day to me, sir, because I’ve clearly already said Good day to you! Good day!”

There are no rules on Good days so I shall continue to say Good day to you, sir!

Good Day to you, sir ends the conversation which I did first! Good day to you, Sir!

Then why are you still talking? Good day to you, Sir!

That's why I say if you really want out of a discussion, you just walk away. At most mention you're doing so so people don't feel like they've just been randomly left hanging, but avoid making some snarky one-liner on the way out (I tend to go with something like "I think I'm repeating myself at this point, so I'm just going to bow out.")

I have most of the 1st Edition WoD books,

The entire extent of my Vampire gaming was one LARP session, and yet I somehow ended up with almost two feet worth of shelf-space of Vampire and Werewolf books when a "friend" who was into the game asked me if they could leave them at my house for a couple days and then fell off the face of the earth...

I sold all of it except for the old Malkavian Guidebook - the first time I saw this on the back of it...
Tragically hip.jpg

... it took three tries of parsing the sentence before I read the whole sentence out loud, pissing off a group of about ten people who'd spent the better part of a week looking up ancient Greek stuff.

No, I'm just already up 2 on my Ignore list, contemplating the 3rd addition of the day while my IT work on my laptop.

I read that as "3rd edition", which, I guess also works...
