"Hey ship's computer, please scan all of their activities for the past five years to look for obvious signs of them being hypocritical. Tell me how many pages it would be if written up fairly concisely on 8.5x11" paper, 1" margins, 1.5 times spacing, and 12 point font. Deliver to me a ten minute lecture on how using this would be petty and unproductive. And then delete the summary of their activities and ban me from asking for it again for 6 months. Thank you."

"Hey ship's computer, what was your AI trained on and is it moral to use you?"

I find myself today thinking of Vampire the Masquerade's Paths of Enlightenment, which were alternate forms of morality for vampires who didn't want to worry about Humanity. A good idea in theory for monstrous characters, but in the 1990s, they quickly became characterized as the "Paths of Doing Whatever I Want."

Had a long conversation about how society functions and why it matters to many, yesterday. Some people dont want to get it, and instead 'do whatever I want' is the primary driver of their morality or lack thereof.

Anyway.

Order of the day is to finish up work, eat more than I want to, work out, errands, eat more, and prep for a weekend of more work, because taking a day off = punishment.

Seems like people are missing the "An' it harm none" bit.

Sigh...
