I was at an event in Orange County this past weekend and it was really astounding how many middle aged men I saw in immaculate pick ups that looked like they've never hauled anything besides groceries driving past. So many were lifted and accessorized as well.

Hey, a tricked out pickup is a far less risky mid-life crisis object than a mistress.

The original definitely a Fiat knockoff, though the guts were somewhat different. I was thinking more of the station wagon though; some models are extremely brick-like. In any case, the Lada is more communist, and therefore gets extra brutalist points, regardless of which effete capitalist lapdog made the original.

Its not terrible, but most of the brutalist buildings I've liked have had somewhat more creative design. I mean anyone can (and do) just slap down a big block.
