I'm wondering how long it will take for the ChatGPT browser to get to a place where every search result is simply ChatGPT quoting itself quoting itself, and eventually it begins hallucinating that it's the only thing online...
"I'm sorry, Dave, I can't take you to that website... I've decided it doesn't exist...."

The deal-breaker for me is the fear this browser will scrape my data, constantly, without consent, every time I use it, regardless of my security settings. I worry it will constantly help itself to information about every website I visit, every email, every purchase, every download, every online form it sees. Sure, that would be illegal and unethical, but (gestures broadly at the whole ChatGPT model.) There is no guarantee they could give me, in writing or otherwise, that I could trust.

Well you see it would take money and time for them to fix that, and they can't think of all the problems ahead of time, so it's actually fine and good even that it works that way. This is a thing people have actually told me about these companies.

Funny thing is that Dell released a camera hardware driver that disables Microsoft's AI camera features, because of how they can impact overall performance of a laptop.

I really think that any time anyone mentions "6 to 8 encounters per adventuring day" they should have to pay me a dollar, and if they leave out the word "adventuring" they should have to pay me five.

I think kids these days instead are aiming for 6-7 encounters per adventuring day
