My female Maine Coon seemed to tell time, but I bet she could just hear some circuit in my electric clock was warming up before my alarm went off.

A cool thing I noticed growing up in a family that was very into that "personal responsibility" flavor of politics: it's actually a way to completely absolve yourself of any responsibility because anything that happens to someone is their own fault.
