Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Sounds like he needed a banning. Try finding what you want when you're not even allowed into the store.
The service desk clerk was a saint. She just listened and nodded. After like the first few seconds the guy wasnt even letting her respond anymore. He was mad and just wanted to rant. I dont get what people think this is going to accomplish?

WotC has announced some upcoming video games earlier this year, including a new one announced just this week. Folks on Reddit are predictably bothered by this (good) news.

I say "predictably" because certain corners of Reddit are as reliable as the tide. Any time Wizards of the Coast does anything at all, it's a new reason to hate them. Every new product they announce is a "woke" disaster, every older IP they ignore is a slap in the face to the "real fans." Every new hire is incompetent, and any turnover is a call for boycott. Anyone who buys their products is a shill or a rube, any of their competitors is a saint or a hero, etc. And the worst part, which I can't stress enough: I am not exaggerating. I used to think it was funny, then absurd...but lately it's approaching surrealism. It's not an echo chamber, it's a shrieking feedback loop.

I want to remind these good people that video games are awesome, and gently bring the discussion back around to the plot, mechanics, artwork, character design, etc. of the games themselves. But the last time I tried (about BG3, which had just been announced at the time) I got downvoted to Avernus and my post got removed. So I'm posting it here instead.

And there it is, the proof that reddit is flawed beyond redemption. I saw they are fighting the social media ban for children in Australia as well?

"How dare you try and protect children from our intentionally addictive and harmful tech!"

The problem with that is that the only way to age-gate access to services is to require identification. Which is, of course, the whole reason they're doing that to begin with – protecting the children is just a pretext.
