Oh I was much more limited. I stated "Law & Order and the NBC 90s must-see sitcom lineup." So unless one thought I thought it only included comedies and one police procedural, from context it's clear that I was not making an exhaustive list.
My favorites part is that people create rules for this. Like if the X-Men and the Justice League end up both meeting Shakespeare at some point, it doesn't count as a linkage. But if, say, the cast of Friends met Jerry Lewis, and he had the magical butler he had in his DC comic appearance, then it would be a linkage to whomever in DC he interacted with. Add to that that writers love to throw in almost-acknowledged crossovers (Marvel cities having reporters 'Clark and Lois' who may or may not be the DC power couple; upon being met JFK quipping 'another spandexed superhero team?') and the level of nonsensical ambiguity achieves peak comedy levels.
