Probably the second-best Christmas movie of all time, just after Christmas with the Kranks*!
* This is a joke. Please don't watch that movie, it's terrible. Management accepts no responsibility for the sharp drop in the quality of your life if you say, "How bad could it be?" and watch it anyway.
With an almost 1/2" entry hole and a baseball sized exit hole, it shouldn't give you anything.
I think that you skipped a post. That was a .44 cal hollow point from my Marlin lever rifle1/2" entry hole and baseball-sized exit hole?... I may need to up the damage BB-guns do in my games! Are we talking regular BBs, or are there baseball-sized BBs I'm unaware of?
I think the resonance of the story is that it resembles a lot of peoples lives in that period, mid to late 20th century. It is well acted also.A Christmas Story is basically the biography of my childhood. There are so many parallels between that movie and my early years (I could show you a picture where I look like Ralphie's stunt double) there's probably a Reddit subgroup dedicated to the conspiracy theories...
In my case, though, it was my brother who was shooting the pellet gun, and I was standing next to him when it ricocheted and hit me just under the eye.
(On a slight tangent, years earlier (when I was still wearing glasses) I actually did get my glasses wrecked by an icicle falling off our house...)
Walp. There's about a hundred emails waiting for me in my Inbox, and four meeting scheduled for me before lunch.
The holidays are definitely over. Happy New Year, everyone...I'm heading back to the salt mines.
About the same number of emails for me, but thankfully no meetings. I've been off for 3 weeks, had my queue cleared before shutting down, and had my vacation response set up so click-box, mark read. Rather surprisingly, unlike previous years, the work queue appears to be well under control after my additional week off.Walp.
