I played a really fun first session of a D&D 5E campaign last night with a new DM (a guy whose been in my D&D games since 2020 when he first started playing RPGs of any kind) and with three other players who are totally new to it as well.

In other news, I realized recently that I did not award XP to one of my D&D groups for the entirety of 2025. It was only 12 sessions, but the just never got to a spot narratively or geographically where potential level advancement made sense for our style of play. Crazy thing? No one else noticed either.

Little Things that Annoy Me More than Most Big Things Do, #94:

Any time I open a Microsoft product, it gives me a popup and asks me if I would like to use Copilot. I can either click "Get Started" or "Ask Me Later." I want neither of those options; I want to click "No, and Stop Asking" but that button doesn't exist and never will.

I suspect they are concerned too many people might click it.
I found the button over here.

1. I was able to get Office to stop offering me copilot constantly but it was a pain in the tuchus and don’t ask me to remember the steps. Sorry. (But I definitely didn’t need to install Linux)

2. Everyone arguing in that thread is overstating their claim and looks really foolish in the process.
