Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I've found that sometimes if it also happens to you and you are okay with it, it makes it better. Try breaking up your piece of cheese and eating it with her.
This is a great idea, except that, if I have a cheese, and she wants cheese, then the one I'm holding is actually her cheese. And if I eat her cheese... Well, it's not good! I get flashbacks to treasure division after RPGA scenarios at GenCon...

I have a colleague here who has two children, and she loves to take pictures of them when they're crying or throwing a tantrum. She keeps a photo album for each of them, nothing but page after page of pouty red faces and tear-stained cheeks, and she looks forward to the day they start dating or having kids of their own.

I've heard this why some parents started teaching their young ones sign language. They seem to be able to pick it up quickly and use it when verbal communication fails them. Is that still a thing?
Oh yeah. We did sign language with her and some really stuck, but she forgot it all as she learned to speak and gesture at things with more specificity and we fell out of the habit of reinforcing it. But she'd sign "more" and "milk" a lot!

Wait til you get to the having to undo the thing you already done so they can do it phase, and then having to wait patiently as it takes them 5 minutes or more to do what takes you literally a second. Five minutes doesn't seem like a lot, but it is a lot and it adds up. God bless 'em.

Edit: Mine's home sick today and both my wife and I work from home - so it is chaotic AF right now - though currently she is sleeping.

Mine has mastered a couple of words in sign language. Unfortunately, those words are "more" and "mine"...

I'm already there! Fortunately, I have learned boatloads of patience running RPGs for kids! My wife said watching me run tables of kid players told her I would be a good dad!

The Fu family* is larger than many realize. Sui Fu, Sus Fu, Jan Fu, Tar Fu round out the Imperial Fus.

They recently opened a nifty little joint called Fu Bar (of course), where their head cook, Bo Hica serves some of the best Fish & Chips.

* mostly fighters, as it happens
Don't forget Fu Manchu. Also, Bo Hica better watch his back. Egg Foo Young the faux fu is looking to take his job.
