I miss high Twitter. Back when I had a place to put every random thought without supporting a wannabe fascist or be shouted down by mouthbreathers. Tho to be honest, most of those thoughts were just ones that I knew would annoy my wife or that she didn't give an ish about. For example, I was just listening to Prince & the Revolution's Parade/Music from Under the Cherry Moon - and once upon a time I would have done a whole twitter thread about it. Now I just think it and move on.

Bluesky now has the non-cancelled comedians telling jokes there. (Patton Oswalt posts like mad, for instance.) Highly recommended.

Just thinking things and moving on from them is, imo, a great skill that people my age and younger were disinclined to learn growing up with social media. I am...I won't say I'm doing a lot better as I've rediscovered the ability but it has made a noticeable difference in my moods.

That's what this thread and the Geek section are for imo.

High Twitter....yeah, not a thing I experienced.
