This cannot be repeated enough. Say it again for the folks in the back.public health policies have saved more lives than medicine ever will. Pharma researchers and MDs may develop a vaccine, but public health officials are the ones who set the policies regarding who gets them and when- especially if they’re deemed crucial enough to mandate inoculations for subgroups or even huge swaths of a population.
One of my colleagues is a wastewater engineer. He always says, "Sewer treatment plants save more lives than hospitals," and he's absolutely right.Indoor plumbing and sewers likely save more people than any drug every discovered.

TBH I watched it and didn't here much that was explicit any more so than what is done today. It was a more innocent age. Yeah, Turning Japanese didn't age well.Rather oddly, despite the explicit content warning, it's probably more socially acceptable than "Turning Japanese" by The Vapors.
It’s one of those days where I have typed, erased, and retyped a response multiple times, took a breath, and decided there’s no use or point in me posting it anyways.
