Today I set out to adopt a second cat so mine would have a friend, which I've been meaning to do since my roommate's cat he bullied into being his friend died but kept putting off. I went in with clear guidelines for the type of cat I was looking for and promptly threw them all out the window when I came across a senior cat who looked miserable in her tiny kennel. So here's hoping I don't learn there's anything terribly wrong with her/my cat doesn't hate her.

My main floor is currently saturated with drywall/mud dust. Fantastic as only people who have gone through it will understand.
