Since Coop always goes through a portal with his knife out, He sizes up the current competition, if it charges him, he'll try to dodge out of the way.

Thought I should give more background on Kenny Fortunate.

BRIEF HISTORY

Kenny never was a very lucky person. He joined the P R A with over 1,000,000 exp but has lost most of it through permanent Level and EXP drains. At 3rd level he was on a mission where he discovered a simple iron ring. In it was a piece of coal. Thinking it could never have been magical, he put it on. It turned into gold and he could not remove it. He tried to have it removed several times but never could. Even a wish failed to do so (Avatar casting Miracle could…maybe).

Suddenly he found accidents occuring regularly. They healed very quickly and figured he had found a ring of Regeneration. Beauty! Not quite. That is the positive side to the cursed ring (see description in Equipment area). He figured that was the end of his P R A job but found some members wanted him on their team regularly. Some for the betting rites or humor. Others since he seemed to draw out dangers that could have otherwise harmed them instead.

This experience has unhinged his mind slowly. He is now afraid of many things and often crys and whimpers about going first or opening doors and chests.

And this is what has happened to Kenny Fortunate since wearing the ring and losing ooodles of EXP.

DM Input flitters away to record images of upcoming battle.
Kenny stiffles a moan and peeks around. He is trying to fake his death (maybe he'll survive an encounter )
Coop moves away as something large rushes towards him.
The multi-legged creature runs at the group and tramples the prone Kenny (thus killing him). A second creature trys to attack Porsche. It bites her solidly and claws at her with multiple claws, several connecting. (17 points total)
Porsche slams into the creature's mind doing 12 points of damage.
Kath transforms into a polar bear.

Coop is going to attempt to bluff the creature if it's within 30' then place a well aimed sneak attack into its body.

Katharrgh will attempt to maul it with sheer force of Strength.

SEGMENT 006

DM Input is nearly blown off screen by a strong icey gust. "Oh My!" She flys straight into the wind watching the activity. "I believe I know what these beasts are."
Kenny is a red stain under the snow as the creature continues to fight you while trampling him (funny thing is- it dosen't know he's there even).
Coop lunges one way then spins the other striking the scaled creature. Coop strikes just right (nat 20! and confirmed!) (does 11 dam). The creature he sliced bites and scratches him for 25 dam! The second one blasts lightning at Porche whom dodges it buts caught in the blast taking 14 dam and singeing her hair.
She draws out her swords at this point.
Kath rears up and latches onto the chitin covered lightning blasting 12 legged toothy creature doing 30 points of damage. It missed trying to claw you as you came in.

SEGMENT 007

DM Input looks at the spreading red stain under the first creature. "Oh my- The Behir is crushing and stomping Kenny Fortunate flat!"
Kenny can not reply.
Coop stabs angerily and repeatedly at the scaley creature. He does 28 in damage total.
One creatures trys for Coop again and hits with several claws (17 dam total) The other trys to bite at Kath. Kath is also hit with several claws for 17 dam.
Porsche moves in begins to fillet the nearest beast. Her short swords hack at the beast cutting off pieces (23 damage). "I hate these things...Behirs I think."
Kath, hits with one claw that digs into the creatures jugular (crited!). The next claw and following bite all hit also. The once white polar bear is now a red steaming bear (70! dam). This creature drops. The other continues to stomp Kenny (That Bastard!)

Kenny should invest in a bag for his remains.

Coop will happily slice and dice the next behir nearest him, throwing his Dagger if needs be.

Katharrgh rips again.

The last Behir succumbs under the joint effect of the group. There is little left of Kenny. He has been sauced. You know he will regeneration soon even in this condition.

Using the mapping instrument on your gauntlets, you head West to the city.
