Player looking to get into pbp gaming.

If any of you happen to have a spot in a game open, or anything like that, feel free to give me a shout.

I've played a ton of stuff on the table, but I've never really tried a play by post game, so I’m thinking I’ll give it a shot.

I'm willing to give most anything a go, but I’m most familiar with D&D 3.5, Star wars, Wheel of Time and AU, but other D20 games shouldn't be too much of a challenge to pick up.

As for other systems, hey, I’m willing to learn.

Its an Arcana Unearthed game set in Ao Manasa in the north eastern part of the Lands of the Diamond Throne. The party is currently 3rd level and are employed as caravan guards.

If interested I still have a slot or two open in Black Sails over Freeport. It is a fairly typical D&D 3.5 game except with pirates! I am limiting magic that the characters are going to receive in the game but they can buy whatever they want at the start (just not going to get longs of replacements is all).

I just started it yesterday called Freeport Part 1 over in the Playing the game.

Anyway good luck! I play in a few and have tried running a couple but that was over a year ago

Black Sails Over Freeport looks fun, I'd definitely be interested. Is there an OOC thread with background information or info like character levels and books allowed?

I'm not sure how to do links to this board BUT yes there is an OOC and a Rogue Gallery. Both are listed as "Black Sails over Freeport" by me If you want I will find them both and bump them. All the character creation rules are over in the Rogue's Gallery also.

Right now the players are

Human Wizard 4/Rogue 1
Filcher (kind of a monkey looking guy) Rogue 5
Elf Rogue 3/Fighter 2
Human Cleric 5 (of Harrimast, the pirate god)

so, lots of rogue stuff in this party

Alright, I've looked over the info in the Rogue's Gallery, and I'm thinking I'd like to make a Swashbuckler out of Complete Warrior. It just fits so well with this campaign, and the party looks like it could use another frontline fighter. Assuming that's ok with you, I could write him up and go say hi in the OOC thread tonight. I don't want to be holding things up.
