Since I'm so busy playing Diablo III, I won't have time to search all the forums.

So put everything you want to say to me here in this thread so I only have one place to check. ;)

See you next week...maybe...

Ha. My copy should arrive today.

But, my Deadlands game runs today. I'm not dumping my real-world game for a computer game.

Tomorrow night, though, my wife's going to dinner with a friend... :p

So as revenge for those of us that don't have it, we should just PM, Quote, and Mention you as much as possible...?:D As well as drop you a few e-mails too...

:p

I hope mine will arrive today but I might have to wait until Friday. Unfortunately, my calendar is already pretty full for the next two weeks so I won't get to play much in any case - hard times :( ;)

You have no idea how much I respect you for respecting your fellow players...

What's sad is that his priorities are the exception to be praised, rather than the rule.

How many people out there are dropping everything just to play a video game?

For me, videogames are what I do when there's nothing else to do.

Well, two things - how much of the "everything" that they're dropping is merely other entertainments?

For me, videogames are what I do when there's nothing else to do.

There's no such thing as "nothing else to do" though. There's dishes to be washed, laundry to be put away, a floor that could be swept, and other maintenance of your world that could be performed. Humans, however, don't do well when all they do is work - entertainment and play is required for psychological health. But even there, unless you live in an empty box, there's always something else to do. Read a book, if nothing else, right?

I will give folks a by upon acquisition of a new toy. You want to geek out over your bright and shiny thing you haven't played with? I'm good with that.

But, for my tabletop game, the choice was super-easy. I mean, Diablo is not going to generate the "Oh crap!" moment when I reveal that the evil weapons-manufacturing company run by the father of one of the PCs is in town, nor the hilarity of Maguire's Multi-Mode Mechanical Mustache! Nor do I get the awesome pulled pork supper or fluffernutter rice crispy treats from a video game.
