D&D 5E (2014) Polearm Master feat: very good?

Doesn't the shield knockdown technically need to be after your attacks. I don't have my book at the moment. Also I think these feats look a little op because the fluff feats seam weak comoared.

Plus pole arm and gwm combo together, where as most other feats dont. Is there a similar feat for shield master, maybe sentinel kinda.

The Bonus Action shove can be done before your attacks, but you are "locked in" to using your Action to attack should you use your bonus action to shove.
