Hey there,

I came across the following thread for the first time today:

"In Remembrance: 2007" - http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=184165

My gut reaction is that this thread stikes me as a little creepy. I guess it shouldn't--newspapers have obituaries, after all, and this thread kind of serves that purpose for EN World--but it still struck me as creepy.

How about you? What do you think of that thread?

You think that thread is creepy? Then you probably shouldn't think too hard about the fact that I use it to keep track of my Dead Pool.

I checked Yes, Definitely because at first it was basically only Truth Seeker finding "the dead" and reporting it. But now it seems like there are several posters running over each other trying to be the first to report another death.

Creepy/ You decide...

If taking your relative's dead body, putting it in a box, inviting people over to look at it, standing around talking about the dead person, and making a big production out of sticking it in the ground is normal, then the thread can hardly be called creepy.

Sometimes you miss out on the fact that someone has died and the thread is useful for me at least in keeping abreast of the mortality of certain people.
